Alicia Keys Joins DJ Kid Capri to Talk New ‘Here’ Album on SiriusXM FLY
Keys is the first guest on the “Kid Capri’s Block Party” show.
Alicia Keys laughed when she remembered the Kid-N-Play pajama birthday party her husband, Swiss Beatz, surprised her with a few years ago. Everyone wore pajamas, including the legendary DJ Kid Capri, who was spinning all night in a Mickey Mouse pajama suit.
“Do you all know how ill an artist and DJ Kid Capri is? You know that part in a party … when you are like … I need to take five minutes to go get some water or a drink … I kept saying I was going to take a break, and every song he played, I was back … Your crown is so secure on your head it’s a blessing to sit next to you,” Keys said to SiriusXM’s newest hip-hop host, DJ Kid Capri himself.
As Keys’s new album, “Here,” dropped Friday, the GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter joined Kid Capri at SiriusXM for a special interview to air on the “Kid Capri’s Block Party” show, which debuts at 4pm ET on Saturday, November 5, on SiriusXM FLY.
