Michelle Monaghan on How Aaron Paul Went from Playing Her Brother to Playing Her Husband
Monaghan and Paul were brother and sister on “Mission: Impossible III” — and husband and wife on “The Path.”
There’s no business like show business.
In 2006, Michelle Monaghan starred in “Mission: Impossible III” alongside Aaron Paul, her on-screen spouse in “The Path,” Hulu’s hit drama about a religious cult.
Monaghan said Monday on “Conversations with Maria Menounos” that she was thrilled to be back to work with the amazing “Breaking Bad” actor, despite the fact that he played her younger sibling in the Tom Cruise action vehicle.
“For a split second, I was like, ‘Wait a second, he’s my brother, he can’t play my husband, we can’t play husband and wife!’ But of course that’s what actors do, they act,” said Monaghan, 40. “I could not ask for a better scene partner. He is one of the most phenomenal people I’ve ever met in my life, just a joy to work with, and it’s a total privilege to work with him on this show.”
“Conversations with Maria” airs live weekdays at 1pm ET on Stars.
