2011 Stewie Award Winners Are Announced!

Visitors to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas hit the jackpot during the 5th annual Stewie Awards. 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart and co-host Matt Yocum saluted the best, boldest and funniest moments of the 2011 NASCAR season.

Among the luminaries participating in the live broadcast were five-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Bill Engvall, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ford Martin, Hal Needham, Jerry Springer, Robin Leach, Leonard Wood, A.J. Foyt, Sam Bass and NASCAR President Mike Helton.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Leonard Wood.

Honoring the year’s most entertaining incident.
Winner: Greg Biffle & Boris Said get into it after the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen.

HAL NEEDHAM AWARD (BEST STUNT SEQUENCE)
Acknowledging the year’s most spectacular crash.
Winner: At the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen, Boris Said bounces David Ragan off a wall and Ragan cartwheels David Reutimann into a fence.

"BOYS HAVE AT IT" AWARD
Acknowledging the year’s most memorable on- or off-track bumping and/or dumping.
Winner: Nearing the checkered flag in the Good Sam Club 500, Jeff Gordon is dumped by his draft partner Trevor Bayne.
