ROBIN IN LUNCH HOUR
“Having Robin was a dream come true,” director James Costa told Howard 100 News about his feature-length documentary Lunch Hour, for which Robin was interviewed. “She is so into this issue about healthy eating.” Robin, along with Rachael Ray and many others, was interviewed for Lunch Hour, which examines the National School Lunch Program, giving kids unhealthy food on a daily basis. Costa urges parents to get involved. “Everyday we sit there and do nothing, kids get unhealthy meals.”
FRED PERFORMS IN NYC
It had been nearly a year since Stern Show head writer and sound effects guru Fred Norris has performed on stage, but Friday night at the NYC pub Connelly’s, that all changed. Fred & Friends performing all new material to a crowded venue. Stern Show fans and wack packers turned out for Fred’s first performance in nearly a year. One fan telling Howard this morning: “I waited 15 years to see King Norris live. He was amazing. He really is a virtuoso.” Howard 100 News was there on location and brings you all the behind the scenes from Fred’s show.
RONNIE RESPONDS TO MILLAN
Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan recently gave Ronnie advice on replacing a dog after Ronnie’s beloved Vizsla passed away. Millan told Howard 100 News, “It should be the right thing to do is honor his death, by giving an opportunity to another dog.” Ronnie Mund appreciating the advice but not rushing to replace Dudley. “I know what he’s saying ... you fall off the horse and you get back on.” Ronnie saying it may take some time before he can even consider another dog. “Do I want my own dog again? I don’t know. I’m not ready for it. I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready for it.“
