After a tough road to recovery following a car accident in February 2021, Tiger Woods announced that he plans on playing at this year’s Masters Tournament. The five-time Masters winner joined Jason Sobel on SiriusXM Masters Radio this morning to discuss his preparation for his big comeback.
“Well, the preparation’s been great, and I’ve been able to hit balls and do all that stuff,” Woods said. “It’s just the walking and the damage has been done to the leg. It’s tough, and it’s been a hard year and a lot of hard work, and I’ve had just an unbelievable team of therapists and physios.”
Additionally, Woods reflected on recovering from his injury.
“Well, the swing part’s easy,” Woods said. “I can do that. It’s dealing with the pain each and every day. It’s just a lot of pain all day, every day.”
