The Kills Cover Rihanna’s ‘Desperado’ for SiriusXMU
Listen to their bluesy acoustic take on the song, driven by Alison Mosshart’s gritty vocals.
June 8, 2016

The Kills have returned with their first album in five years, “Ash & Ice,” the follow-up to 2011’s “Blood Pressure.”
In celebration of its release, Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart stopped by SiriusXMU for a stripped-down performance of songs from the new effort. During the exclusive “SiriusXMU Session,” they also transformed Rihanna’s slow-burning “ANTI” cut Desperado into a bluesy acoustic number driven by Mosshart’s gritty vocals.
The Kills’ full “SiriusXMU Session” premieres on June 8 at 9pm ET with rebroadcasts throughout the week.
