With a career spanning more than three decades, internationally acclaimed Dancehall/Reggae artiste Tanya Stephens has managed to create an enviable musical legacy. Her prolific songwriting skills, coupled with her rich tone and straight-talking personality, have transported her into a realm of music royalty.
Tanya made a name for herself in the ’90s with dancehall staples like “Yuh Nuh Ready For This” and “Goggle,” before establishing herself as one of the island’s most gifted songwriters with unforgettable tunes like “It’s a Pity” and “These Streets.”
“Some Kinda Madness” (out September 2 via Tad’s Records) stands as Tanya’s 10th studio album, and features guest vocals from Cedella Marley, Diana King, Patra, Big Youth, Nadine Sutherland, and more.
