Mötley Crüe Takes Over Hair Nation to Celebrate ‘The Dirt’

The channel takeover features Mötley Crüe’s catalogue, new songs from the “The Dirt” soundtrack, and more.

Legendary rock band Mötley Crüe takes over Hair Nation for “Mötley Crüe Week” in advance of the band’s new Netflix biopic, “The Dirt.”

The channel takeover features music spanning Mötley Crüe’s entire catalogue, as well as tracks from other Sunset Strip rock bands and new songs from the “The Dirt” soundtrack before the film’s release on March 22. Plus, catch the world premiere of a new Mötley Crüe song on March 14.

In between songs, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and Nikki Sixx share their personal stories and memories on their meteoric rise and becoming “the world’s most notorious rock band.” Additional guest appearances on the channel include cast members of “The Dirt,” including Machine Gun Kelly (who plays Tommy Lee in the film), Douglas Booth (playing Nikki Sixx), Daniel Webber (playing Vince Neil), and the biopic director, Jeff Tremaine.

Mötley Crüe also appears in a special edition of “Trunk Nation LA Invasion,” a live broadcast hosted by Eddie Trunk from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, on March 19.  This exclusive event featuring interviews with members of the band and cast from “The Dirt” takes place on the famed Sunset Strip and airs live on VOLUME 6pm PT/9pm ET.

“Mötley Crüe Week” on Hair Nation kicks off March 18 at 6am ET and runs through March 24 on channel 39 and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices.
