The Monterey Jazz Festival, the longest continuously-running jazz festival in the world, returns to the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, CA, September 23–25.

Experience the music, heritage and energy of the 65th Monterey Jazz Festival when Real Jazz (Ch. 67) plays exclusive performances from artists like Chucho Valdés, Kurt Elling, Lisa Fischer and more. The nonprofit Monterey Jazz Festival (MJF) was co-founded by Jimmy Lyons and Ralph J. Gleason in 1958. Major jazz artists from the past 60 years — from Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday to artists of today, Diana Krall and Wynton Marsalis — have taken the festival stages. MJF also presents year-round local, regional, national and international educational jazz music programs.
