The UConn men’s basketball team has made seven Final Four appearances (1999, 2004, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2023, and 2024) and won five NCAA titles (1999, 2004, 2011, 2014, 2023). Their record far outpaces Alabama’s historic March Madness performance; this is the Crimson Tide’s first Final Four appearance — and their chance to take home the team’s first championship title.

The winner of the Alabama/UConn Final Four game will face the winner of the NC State/Purdue Final Four game for the championship title on April 8.
