Foals Cover Mark Ronson’s ‘Daffodils,’ Perform Stripped-Down ‘Mountain at My Gate’ for SiriusXMU
The band stopped by the SiriusXM studios in New York City ahead of their UK tour.

English rockers Foals released their fourth studio album, “What Went Down,” back in August 2015. The record marked the band’s heaviest and loudest to date and peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard 200.
The five-piece band is about to hit the road on a UK tour, but ahead of their jaunt, they stopped by the SiriusXM studios in New York City, where they joined host Julia Cunningham on SiriusXMU.
They chatted about Foals’ most recent record and performed a stripped-down version of their single “Mountain At My Gate,” as well as a cover of “Daffodils” by Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) off 2015’s “Uptown Special,” turning the psych-pop-infused dance-funk track into a heavier, buzzier synth-and-bass-driven number.
