In light of Dixie D’Amelio’s meteoric rise to fame, SiriusXM caught up with her for the premiere episode of “Vision Boarding,” a conversational series where rising artists look back at where they’ve been and map out where they hope to go in the future.
How was it hearing your song on SiriusXM for the first time?
Dixie D’Amelio: It was insane. I was with my friends, it was just such a nice moment, I was smiling — I really just can’t explain that moment; it was very weird, but awesome, and I loved it.
Who have you collaborated with?
DD: So far, I’ve collaborated with blackbear, Lil Mosey, Wiz Khalifa, Liam Payne, and Dillon Francis.
What was it like going viral for the first time?
DD: Going viral for the first time was a crazy experience, and I’m pretty sure I read every comment on the first video that ever went viral of mine, and I was just so confused. But it was a fun feeling; it’s hard to explain, but it was really cool.
In the next 1 to 3 years, I want to collaborate with ____
DD: Lil Uzi [Vert], even if it’s not on a song; we could take a picture, I could just tell him hi, I’m his biggest fan.

DD: Everything I can; I don’t have a specific path that I’m taking, I’m just trying to be the best I can.
