‘Crypto on the Beat’ Podcast Explores the Intersection of Cryptocurrency and EDM
It covers everything you need to know about this bold new era where creativity and economics collide.

The worlds of EDM and digital finance grow closer every day. “Crypto on the Beat,” a new SiriusXM exclusive podcast, explores how Bitcoin, NFTs, and all things cryptocurrency are becoming more mainstream as many of our favorite DJs and producers join the conversation and get more involved — from 3LAU showing up as a featured guest on CNBC to Calvin Harris dropping his first NFT collection.
At the intersection of music and cryptocurrency, the podcast covers everything you need to know about this bold new era of technology, featuring interviews with the most influential DJs, musicians, traders, and industry insiders.
Hosted by Danny Valentino, whose voice you may recognize from BPM and Studio 54 Radio, “Crypto on the Beat” starts each episode with crypto news, dives into the conversation on social media, Clubhouse, and within the music community, and then focuses on a feature interview with musical talent. In addition to his passion for electronic music, Valentino spent 15 years working in finance and has followed the cryptocurrency space since its inception.
In the debut episode, DJ and blockchain expert 3LAU talks about getting music fans involved in the crypto marketplace and what it was like to be the first artist to sell an album in NFT form. On May 31, dance music icon Kaskade talks about metaverse concerts, video games, and how his Roblox concert finally earned him proper “street cred” with his kids. And on June 14, global superstar Steve Aoki talks about his newly created “Aok1verse,” outfitting his Las Vegas home for the metaverse, and why Web3 is the future for creators.
