The Bengals’ second-round pick in 2022, Taylor-Britt started nine games in regular season and three in postseason last year. He first started Game 8 at Cleveland, then remained the starter after Chidobe Awuzie suffered a season-ending knee injury against Browns.

Taylor-Britt credited fellow cornerback Awuzie for helping him find a routine and offering valuable insights from the sidelines, specifically revealing that he found his stride during the second Browns game and heading into the playoffs.

When asked about the leap to becoming a starter for the upcoming season, Cam Taylor-Britt couldn’t hide his enthusiasm. He replied, “Honestly, it feels great, man, just to be in the position that I am. You have to put forth the effort every day to hold that position.”

With the departure of seasoned safeties Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates III, Taylor-Britt acknowledged the void left by their absence. “With the guys missing, we most definitely will miss them and I know they’re on to better things. They’re my brothers for life,” he said.

However, he expressed confidence in the incoming starting safeties, Nick Scott and Daxton Hill, praising their intelligence and hard-hitting abilities.
