Gene Watson Celebrates ‘Outside The Box’ with a Release Special at Willie’s Roadhouse

Known among country fans and fellow artists as the “Singer’s Singer,” Gene Watson is celebrating 60 years in the music business — and shows no signs of slowing down.

One of his biggest fans is Willie Nelson, who duets with Watson for the first time on his new album, “Outside The Box.” Willie welcomes Watson to his SiriusXM channel, Willie’s Roadhouse, for an exclusive album release special, premiering on the album’s release date, September 16.

Recorded with a live audience of SiriusXM listeners at SiriusXM’s Music City Theatre in Nashville, the one-hour special features performances of new and classic songs from Gene and his Farewell Party Band, as well as a conversation with Grand Ole Opry legend and “Sundays with Seely” host Jeannie Seely.
