GEORGE TAKEI RETURNS
Stern Show announcer and Star Trek’s “Sulu” returned to the Stern Studios today and brought his contagious laughter with him. Takei says it’s like old times when he steps back into his chair inside the studio. “2006 was when I first started, so it’s been almost a decade.” George tells Howard 100 News reporter Lisa G that the probing questions from the King of All Media never bother him. “It’s voyeurism on his part, but it certainly makes for good radio, doesn’t it?” George’s documentary, To Be Takei, opening in theaters this Friday, reveals even more about him than we learn on the radio, said Stern Show writer Richard Christy. “It was very informative. There were a lot of things that I didn’t know about George.”

KING OF ALL BLACKS ON FERGUSON, MO.
As the country monitors the escalating situation in Ferguson, Mo., King of All Blacks is speaking out exclusively to Howard 100 News about the racial divide after the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown. “The thing about it is a young black man has been shot again by overhanded, low tolerance cops.” King of All Blacks, who often gives his opinion on everything from Ronnie’s fashion to relationships, says you can’t lump all the officers in Ferguson together. “The cops are not racist, not all of them, but they have a low tolerance of black young men.”

BOBO'S FIRST DAY IN FLORIDA
Stern Show wack packer Bobo has finally made his way to the Sunshine State and started his new listening rituals after missing a show last week for the first time in 20 years. Bobo told Howard 100 News his original listening plan from Florida was close to home. “I tried to go up to my terrace this morning … I got the Sirius hooked up out there.” But  things didn’t work exactly as Bobo planned. “It was 80 degrees this morning at 6 am. So I’m actually calling from the car. Just got to watch out for the gators.”
