He’s working on a new book that follows his grandfather’s and uncle’s voyage on the infamous Jewish refugee ship St. Louis and their unhappy odyssey through a series of French concentration camps to their murder at Auschwitz.

She spent over seven years as a host on Classical 24, a nationally syndicated classical music service. Over the last several years, Lauren has delved into broadcast production, hosting and producing 5 seasons of Minnesota Opera radio broadcasts as well as the Gracie Award-winning documentary series "Instrumental Women.” A longtime student of the French horn, Lauren holds a master's degree from George Mason University.
