Building a Diverse Workforce & Corporate Culture
SiriusXM continues to build on its commitment to workforce diversity through our Inclusion Council, Affinity Groups, industry and functional partnerships, affiliations, and strategic recruiting initiatives. We partner with National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), National Society of Hispanic MBA's (NSHMBA), Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), National Association for Multi-Ethinicity in Communications (NAMIC).
It is the mission of the Inclusion Council to act as a recommendation body, a resource group and an investigative resource focused on helping to improve productivity at SiriusXM and helping to make the company a more compelling place to work.
Specifically, the Council seeks to aid in improving the work environment by:
- Identifying and recommending methods of improving the attraction, hiring, development, retention and promotion of diverse employees
- Recommending the standards, behaviors and policies that exemplify best practices in the areas of diversity and inclusion
The SiriusXM Inclusion Council considers Employee Affinity Groups to be a vital component in helping establish a cross company connection of SiriusXM employees providing an opportunity to work together on constructive initiatives to help enhance the corporate climate at SiriusXM.
