Kyle Cantrell grew up listening to the sounds of the Grand Ole Opry. In 1982 he joined the staff of WSM, where he pioneered its first classic country format and won the 2003 Golden Voice Award for Outstanding Radio Personality. He's also been named the 2008 IBMA Bluegrass Broadcaster of the Year.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 5 pm - 9 pm ET
    Fridays 6 pm - 9 pm ET
Joey knew the music of Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs from his Dad’s record collection, but when he heard the Osborne Brothers' “Don’t Let Smoky Mountain Smoke Get in Your Eyes,” the bluegrass bug permanently bit. “Getting to play Bluegrass full-time is a dream come true and a huge honor!”

  • Chris Jones | email

    Saturdays 12 pm - 6 pm ET
When he's not on the air, Chris Jones is performing worldwide, from football stadiums in Bulgaria to Lincoln Center. He's won IBMAs for Broadcaster of the Year and Song of the Year, and as a sideman he's played with Lynn Morris, Special Consensus, Vassar Clements, April Verch, and The Chieftains.

  • Ned Luberecki | email
    Saturdays 6 pm - 12 am ET
Ned's fascination with banjo, bluegrass and radio began with Steve Martin's comedy records and later came from Flatt and Scruggs and Bill Monroe. (He's also a big time Van Halen fan.) And when Ned goes on tour, he could be broadcasting from Germany, Kansas or a cruise ship in the Caribbean!
